Schwarzbach Quarter Ratingen

The industrial area around today’s Balcke-Dürr-Allee, also known as Schwarzbach-Quartier, traditionally houses medium-sized companies from the surrounding area as well as offshoots of multinational corporations. Names of some well-known companies are:

*Mitsubishi Electric, DKV, Esprit, SPIE, Computacenter, MT AG, Sogeti, SAP, Grollmus, Capgemini, Prosegur, and many more.

And the prospects are rosy: between 2019 and 2026, a major British investor is building a company landscape par excellence on the still unused part of Balcke-Dürr-Allee on an area of around 40,000 square meters. In the future, a new cross-industry company location is to be created here on Düsseldorf’s doorstep, in which fashion labels will line up with Asian tech companies and start-ups to benefit from the proximity to each other in the emerging company hub (link www.schwarzbach-quartier.de).

Our trade fair hotel is ideally located between Essen and Düsseldorf. The journey to the Düsseldorf exhibition center takes 15 minutes by car and 40 minutes by public transport. To avoid long waiting times in traffic jams, or to avoid having to search for a parking space on site, it is a good idea to use the S-Bahn S 6 (S-Bahn station Ratingen Ost), which is only 200m from our hotel, as a means of transport for your trade fair visit in Essen or Düsseldorf.
